Which Treatment Course is Right for You?

After our initial 60-min consultation, we shall discuss which treatment course will work best for you. This will depend on a number of factors.

If your issue is relatively minor and mainly affects one area of your body, then a short course of treatment may be enough to help you return to normal fitness and activity.

However, if your issue has been going on for some time and is affecting several different areas of your body, then we may need a bit more time to put it right. Your commitment to your rehab programme may also affect how much treatment you need.

If you are living with a long-term condition which needs to be managed, rather than cured, then you may benefit from having ongoing, regular maintenance massage, as part of a healthy lifestyle. In this case, a longer treatment course may suit you best.

How will your Treatment Course Work?

I offer appointments of between 1 and 3 hours. Once you have bought a treatment course, we shall allocate the time according to what works best for you. For example, if you have bought a 6 hr course, you could allocate this in a number of ways:

  • 6 x 60 min sessions
  • 4 x 90 min sessions
  • 3 x 2 hr sessions
  • 2 x 3 hr sessions
  • or a combination of longer and shorter sessions.

I may recommend that you take your treatment course within a given time frame, to help you get the most out of it. Too long a gap between sessions can sometimes hamper your progress, because you are back at square one every time you come to see me. We shall discuss the right time frame to keep you moving forward.

In order to keep you moving forward, I usually recommend an interval of between a week and a month between sessions, depending on your individual circumstances.

In cases of acute injury, you may benefit from two treatments in one week to begin with. Then we would look at spreading your treatments out as you recover.

Treatment Mix and Match

Once you have bought a course of treatment, we can use the time for whichever treatment type is right for you on the day. For example, if we have been working on recovery from an injury, but one day you fancy chilling out with a relaxing aromatherapy treatment or aroma-fascial facial, then this is fine.

Important Things to Note

You are likely to benefit from your treatment if you are 100% committed to your health and recovery. I therefore take all payments for initial consultations in advance, as confirmation of your booking.

I take payments for all treatment courses in advance of the first session of your course. This fee is non-refundable if you choose not to complete your treatment course.

Personalised Aromatherapy Products to Enhance Your Course of Treatment.

I offer prescription aromatherapy blends, to help you manage any ongoing conditions. These are charged at a fixed rate of £20. You will be offered either a 10-ml undiluted essential oil blend for inhalation, or a 100-ml diluted oil or lotion blend to use on your body.

I can also offer bespoke luxury blends for your personal use, such as a rose facial oil. However, prices of luxury products are subject to variation, depending on your product specifications. I therefore give you a quotation for luxury products, before proceeding with an order.

All orders for aromatherapy products are paid for in advance.

Please note: for insurance reasons, I can only provide bespoke aromatherapy products following a face-to-face or Skype consultation with you. I cannot provide these products remotely, via you, for a third party, such as your partner, child or friend. If you know someone who could benefit from aromatherapy, please ask them to contact me and I shall be happy to work with them directly.
